German Apple Cake

This recipe is quick, easy, and the perfect follow up for any big Oktoberfest meal. Yet it is so good, you will want to make it anytime you can get good apples!


German Apple Cake

12 servings

2 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups peeled chopped apples

1. In large bowl, beat eggs and oil until smooth.
2. Add next 6 ingredients and mix well.
3. Fold in apples.
4. Pour into greased 9 by 13 pan.
5. Bake at 350F degrees for 50-55 minutes.
